Summer Art Confluence

4 local artists come together to share their visions in textile, written word, oil and cold wax painting, and organic sculpture.

In 2018 I began to paint trying to evoke the beauty of theworld around me onto a wooden panel with oil and cold wax. When I retired from medicine three years later,  I was able to pursue painting more seriously: I found a mentor to study with, took classes online and in person, took week long intensives, and began to enter shows through the Gorge. Painting feeds my soul.

A year ago Enrique and I showed our work for one night at Moon Mountain. It was a wonderful experience. We wanted to come back with a few more friends to offer our visions to you. - Kevin Walsh
