The magic of the Solstice brings an opportunity to inquire about the most important message for you during this season transition. If you have a single question or would like guidance on a particular topic, now is the perfect time to ask the tarot. Mini readings will be for approximately 10-15 minutes.

My tarot practice is rooted in intuition, with my focus being to listen and share the living story that the cards are telling. I have found intuitive based readings allow for a wider interpretation of the card meanings and a more personalized connection to the practice.

Celtic Dreamtime ~ Featuring Scottish Storyteller Dougie Mackay

An evening of myth, music, and remembering

Celtic Dreamtime is an evening of story, song, and soulful gathering devoted to that same current of remembering. Together, we will journey through Celtic myth and melody, exploring the waters of ancestry, imagination, and belonging that run beneath our modern lives. We will share tales of the salmon, of the oak, of the wild dreaming world and of the foretime which we have all come from. These stories will be accompanied by songs from the same origin - the deep dreaming earth and her ancient ways.

With our brains hard-wired for story, this ancient folk art is finding new life, returning to theatres, festivals, and community halls, offering something both ancient and immediate. It invites us into direct communion with one another, heart to heart, soul to soul. Stories helped us make sense of the world, and still do. They awaken imagination and connect us to something timeless.

Featuring Scottish Storyteller: Dougie MacKay

Rooted in the Scottish Highlands, Dougie carries forward a lineage of natural storytellers. His practice is grounded in community education, using story as a tool for connection, development, and empowerment.

For over a decade, Dougie has been telling stories professionally across Scotland and beyond, known for his warmth, rhythmic presence, and engaging style that invites deep participation from audiences of all ages. He draws inspiration from the wild northern landscapes of Scotland, Scandinavia, Ireland, the Baltics, and Siberia, weaving tales that echo with the animism and wonder of these lands.

Dougie has shared his craft in schools, museums, libraries, and community spaces, as well as on some of the most renowned stages for oral tradition, including the Scottish International Storytelling Festival (SISF)Festival at the Edge (FatE)Village Storytelling Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe. His work has taken him to Canada, Jordan, Morocco, Norway, Germany, Lithuania, and Ireland and now Oregon.

Musician: Savannah Clancy

A Pacific Northwest folk singer-songwriter whose music opens a doorway into the soul. Her songs are living landscapes of place, lineage, and imagination, dreaming new worlds into being. Her debut album Roots in the Water was released in 2024, and her next, A Place to Call Home, is currently unfolding through monthly singles.

Musician: Jenny Jahlee

Jenny is a deep heart and honest voice, who writes her songs from the well of relatable human experiences, giving beauty to the human story through song. She blends generes and crosses musical themes that invoke heart, soul and connection. She has 2 full length albums out, and currently blends her love for music with her breathwork facilitation where her voice becomes a tool for healing as much as entertaining. 

Through story and song, we will listen for the old wisdom that still swims in our blood, the wild intelligence of the river, the memory of our ancestors, the beauty of what endures.

Exposure Therapy

A solo exhibition by Anna Kai observing our ability to adapt alongside chaos -- we drop in, out of necessity, and meet ourselves on the other side. These paintings are milestones of change, a collection of learnings and reminders for others dropping into the unknown circumstances of their lives.

BIo

Anna Kai-Walsh is an artist and designer based in White Salmon, WA, who holds a bachelors in Fine Art and Graphic Design. Her paintings are deeply inspired by the cycles of the natural world and our desire to feel connected to that energy. Ultimately, she hopes her artwork serves as a subtle reminder of our collective flow and connection with the environment.

A little more info

This show marks a turning point in my work. For years I've stood at the easel for hours on end creating intricate depictions of snapshot moments -- a specific splash or moment in time. Massive life changes have pushed me in a more wiley direction -- wild, free flowing acrylic washes on raw canvas. I've adapted, leaned into a side of my art that is more aligned. I can see the through lines in early work, it feels natural, and it's honestly just magic to fully drop into this style of painting. The title Exposure Therapy hints at big circumstances, forcing yourself to overcome the fear, adapt, and come out the other side. These paintings are milestones of change, learnings from a pivotal times in one's life. They are wishes and reminders for others dropping into the unknown circumstances of their lives.

Autumn Equinox is always a time for recognizing transitions 

as well as the places of balance in our lives.

As harvest is so visible here in The Gorge, gleaning is on the mind.

How shall we store & celebrate the fruits of our years?

How shall we grieve the lost crops & dreams that didn't thrive?

What are we taking with us into the next season of life?

What are we leaving in the field of the past for composting?

What transitions are we resisting 

in this time of equal parts light & dark?

From individual transitions in our commUNITY to the shifts of our shared world... 

we will move on this seasonal holy day 

to pause & appreciate that we are all here, now - 

Together.

Sweat Your Prayers®

Sweat Your Prayers® is a gathering where we bring our individual 5Rhythms® practice and move through the rhythms of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness with intention and in community. It is a dance meditation practice with music and very minimal instruction. There's no step to learn. We dance our own dance. Everybody's welcome! Please come ready to sweat, bring your curiosity, a water bottle and your friends.

Sweat is an ancient and universal form of self healing, whether done in the gym, the sauna, or the sweat lodge. I do it on the dance floor. The more you dance, the more you sweat.
