Sweat Your Prayers® with Sara Mains

Sweat Your Prayers® is a gathering where we bring our individual 5Rhythms® practice and move through the rhythms of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness with intention and in community. It is a dance meditation practice with music and very minimal instruction. There's no step to learn. We dance our own dance. Everybody's welcome! Please come ready to sweat, bring your curiosity, a water bottle and your friends.

"To sweat is to pray, to make an offering of your innermost self. Sweat is holy water, prayer beads, pearls of liquid that release your past. Sweat is an ancient and universal form of self healing, whether done in the gym, the sauna, or the sweat lodge. I do it on the dance floor. The more you dance, the more you sweat. The more you sweat, the more you pray. The more you pray, the closer you come to ecstasy." - Gabrielle Roth

Created by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide, 5Rhythms® is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the body in motion, the psyche will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor, reaching across all languages, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art, art into awareness and awareness into action. Wherever the 5Rhythms® are practiced, a commUNITY is born to dance, to sweat, to change, to support and to provide a safe space for each of us to shatter the ego’s hold and awaken the juicy, unpredictable, fascinating, edge-walking, rock star part of ourselves that yearns to be free.

Sara Mains is a certified 5Rhythms facilitator and has been leading 5Rhythms® classes and workshops in the Columbia River Gorge for 10 years.

Shapeshifting the Goddess with Abby McHale

Shapeshifting the Goddess with Abby McHale

Shapeshifting The Goddess is a nine-month pilgrimage for women who are ready to claim the power of the entirety of themselves, and their vast and shapeshifting feminine nature through the embodiment of eight feminine archetypes.

You will receive weekly content, and be held monthly in ceremony nested at the studio at Moon Mountain Highway. This is a container for you to foster and nurture a deep relationship with all of yourself, and it's a container to do so in sisterhood.

Each month we will gather and take in the sweet medicine of Cacao, Flower Essences, and sound. We will invoke the Goddess in her many forms, drop deep within ourselves, and commune with spirit, and one another to integrate.

This journey is all about shedding the layers of programming that have taught us to hold the breath of our authenticity. It's a process of growing into ourselves, and taking up space regarding what is true for us. It's all about surrendering to one's self -- it's about self-acceptance, self-embrace, slowing down, and rooting into your very center. It's a journey of falling in love with who you are beneath all the layers, all the stories, goals, identities, dreams, memories and fantasies of yourself and your life so that you can be crystal clear about nurturing a life that harmonizes with your wildest, and most uninhibited truth.

This is a journey of letting go and nesting into yourself, and setting the woman who resides within free.

Shapeshifting The Goddess is an annual offering facilitated by Abby McHale, and it begins in October and comes to a close in June. You can meet Abby, find all the details, and register here

We begin October 1st, and circles will begin in November. All circles will be held on second Fridays 6 pm - 9 pm at Moon Mountain Highway November - June.

Lastly, please note, there are virtual and in-person options if you live afar.<3

Sound Attunement with Monica Dunn

Please arrive a few minutes early to find a comfortable space for yourself.  If you are sensitive to light, please bring something to cover your eyes with. There are yoga mats and blankets provided, though feel free to bring a pillow or extra blankets for lying on the floor to receive your attunement.

During a sound attunement, the consciousness is shifted by the vibrational frequencies from vocal intonations, Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, drums, and other sonic vibrational tools to align the body, mind and spirit of the individual receiving it.

By surrendering and allowing, the frequencies bring the recipient into an altered, relaxed state of consciousness creating space for healing, activation, transmutation, and connection with the Higher Consciousness.

Cost: $30 payable by cash at the door or Venmo to Monica Dunn QHHT

About the facilitator:
Monica Dunn has been working with sound for 44 years since she began singing publicly as a child. Her connection to music and sound continued on as a singer songwriter in her 20's and 30's. Her spiritual quest began from a young age.  She discovered a way to bridge her love of sound, healing and spirituality through channeling tones.

Monica practices Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique(QHHT) out of her home in BZ Corner, where she has been working in the quantum field and assisting others with their healing and transformation for the past 8 years.

If you wish to schedule a one on one Sound session with Monica, have questions or are interested in learning more about QHHT, please visit: www.monicadunnqhht.com
